LaSalle Network is partnering with a world-renowned retailer seeking a strategic Finance Manager to spearhead their M&A integration efforts. In this high-profile role, you'll be the architect of post-acquisition success, leading a team to seamlessly integrate new subsidiaries. You'll bridge the gap between leadership teams, ensuring a smooth financial transition and maximizing the value of each acquisition. This role is hybrid with 2 days onsite per week in Naperville, IL.
Finance Manager- M&A Strategy Responsibilities:
- Partner with business operations and National Finance teams to ensure seamless financial integration
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership, driving strategic decision-making
- Lead the development of financial plans, forecasts and variance analyses to guide business direction
- Analyze financial results, conduct financial planning and provide strategic, post-acquisition initiative analysis
- Identify and recommend qualified external vendors when necessary
- Streamline and enhance financial processes within the organization
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and keep leadership informed of relevant developments
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses, collaborating with operations leadership for informed decision-making
- Review and assess operational and financial KPIs, identifying areas for improvement
- Analyze market trends and their impact on retail operations
- Champion cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Foster a positive and productive team environment, ensuring clear communication of company goals and objectives
Finance Manager- M&A Strategy Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field required
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance and ideally operational strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders
- Experience with financial modeling and cost/benefit analysis
- Post-merger integration strategy
