Learn more: Benefits, Perks, and Leave.The Role:The licensed counselor Clinic Director will manage the delivery of clinic services and will help the Psychology department provide an increase in mental health support for Kittitas County youth, aged 12-17 years. They will provide direct counseling services to a limited number of youth clients including offering individual and group counseling. The Clinic Director will collaborate with faculty and the community in providing graduate students with clinic evidence-based counseling training. This work will involve collaborating with Ellensburg School District to serve youth clients in the Clinic. This position is a two-year externally funded position. All employees are expected to support CWU's commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment.Job DutiesProvides Counseling Services:- Provide direct counseling services to a limited number of youth clients.- Model individual or small group counseling for our graduate students.Managing Clinic: Manage all counseling service functions including the following:- Work with clinic secretary.- Establish a clinic schedule each quarter.- Lead graduate assistant assigned to clinic.- Make recommendations for purchasing materials and supplies needed for the clinic operations.- Respond to requests for client records coming from other agencies.- Complete quarterly and end-of-year reports on counseling services.- Develop strategies for serving youth clients based on feedback from district.- Prepare parent survey to determine counseling outcomes.- Prepare informational materials to be shared with parents of youth.- Ensure that counseling treatment plans with relevant goals are maintained for each youth client.- Ensure that feedback from each youth client is elicited to determine the success of the treatment.- Co
