In this role of Network Engineer, you will continue linking our people together to help our company continue to accomplish mission success.Work ModelThis position is 100% onsite located in Chantilly, VA.What You'll Be DoingLead and/or support major network and networksecurity projects to support new initiatives, capacity, life-cycle management, upgrades, new products and/or features, and integration in unclassified environmentsWork in an all Cisco technology-based network that includes Cisco Catalyst switches, Nexus data center switches,ASA/Firepower firewalls,web proxies and network authenticationProvide technical leadership for core networking and network securityCreate and maintain documentation for network using Netbrain or Microsoft VisioOptimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of network and network servicesCoordinates and communicates ongoing tasks with other teams for infrastructure updates, and customer notifications.Interfaces with user community to understand needs and designs and implements solutions to accommodate themCollaborates with other infrastructure teams in the architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriateTracks industry trends, conducts research, and maintains knowledge of new technologies to provide the organization with optimal solutionsWhat You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 10 years of professional experienceExperience working with Cisco Nexus data center switches, fabric interconnects, and UCS serversExperience working with Cisco ACS, ISE and RSA SecurIDExperience with configuration & management of DNS/DHCP enterprise servicesCompTIA Security + CE (SY0-601 or SY0-701)This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the US government.
