A leading healthcare organization in Bristol, CT is currently seeking a Recruiter for a great opportunity with their team. Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and hiring qualified nurses to meet the staffing needs of healthcare facilities (med-surg, Psych Units, Emergency Departments). They work closely with hiring managers to create job postings, source candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations. Candidate will also be asked to review existing processes and provide suggestions for improving language/flow of job descriptions.
Responsibilities:
- Works with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job postings
- Sources candidates through online job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels
- Conducts phone and in-person interviews to screen candidates
- Coordinates interviews with hiring managers and other team members
- Makes hiring recommendations and negotiates job offers
- Maintains accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Nursing, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing, preferably in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
