This is a full-time senior role for a Family Law Attorney at Freed Marcroft Divorce and Family Law. As a Senior Family Law Attorney, your day-to-day tasks may include handling legal issues related to family law, preparing and filing motions, conducting depositions, and providing legal advice to clients. This is a hybrid role that is primarily located in Connecticut, United States, with the flexibility for some work from home.
Qualifications
- Firm understanding of and experience in Connecticut Family Law
- Strong divorce litigation background
- Experience in preparing and filing Motions
- Ability to conduct Depositions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong strategic negotiation and advocacy skills
- Experience in ADR (negotiation, mediation, and/or collaborative ) a plus.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and Connecticut law license in good standing.
