We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and estate planning documents, prepare estate planning templates, navigate estate planning software and legal drafting software, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. If you're interested in advancing your paralegal career with opportunities for growth, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process serversHold client interviews to gather information about their legal problemsPerform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessibleDraft wills, trusts and estate planning documents under the guidance of a lawyerHelp lawyers prepare estate planning notebooks and estate planning documentsDraft estate planning documents by using estate planning software and legal management softwareQualifications:Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal educationMust have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor s degree desiredStrong oral and written communication skillsCandidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingAbout Company:The focus of the Lanchester Law Firm is personalized, client-based estate planning services in the areas of Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, Living Wills, Final Wishes Instructions, and Probate.
