Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Hotel Systems Training Specialist to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in Parsippany , New Jersey .

**Job Summary**

The Hotel Systems Specialist is accountable for curriculum content and training material for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; ensuring the design, development and delivery are suitable for hotels and/or associates. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts systems. The individual must work closely with the hotel support teams (HTCS, MyRequest, OSD, RMS, Global Sales, and Managed/Franchise Operations) to confirm the training material is current and accurate.

This position is also accountable for the delivery of remote and onsite systems training for WH&R hotels. The position requires contact with property owners or general managers to plan, schedule, and deliver systems training, and support of Wyndhams approved systems.

**Essential Job Function**

1. Systems Training Content Development

* Develop hotel system curriculum content and training material with various approaches, including job aids, workbooks, eLearning, presentations, webinars, videos or other.

* Adhere to L&D design concepts and industry standards for learning/education and confirm the content is approved through WHR Legal before sharing with the Franchisees.

* Maintain current training curriculum for accuracy.

* Communicate training curriculum updates to MyPortal for the hotel and WH&R support teams.

2. Meet the goals and objectives, policies, procedures, schedules, and similar functions relative to departments operations. Continually seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of the training services provided.

3. Compile the necessary reports to track systems training, enrollments, attendance records. Send regular updates to the designated recipients and help answer questions. Maintain reporting records.

4. Maintains liaison with management/operations supervisor in other functional areas (HTCS, Hotel Systems, OSD, Property Openings, and Distribution/RMS) to exchange information, coordinate efforts, provide status, and communicate updates to the dependent teams (or update documentation).

5. Maintain the procedure documents for the PMS training team, including best practices, leave behind folder, checklists, and other necessary documents used during the deployment of a new PMS. Make approved updates and communicate updates to the team, when necessary.

**Scope/Financial Responsibility**

The Hotel Systems Training Specialist will work closely with the Hotel Systems Training Manager.

The Hotel Systems Training Specialist will be responsible for the development of systems training curriculum and the delivery of PMS training (as needed) for all related systems. The Hotel Systems Specialist has minor decision-making responsibilities. This role must be able to multi-task, establish self direct timelines that allow for property completion of assigned tasks, and provide follow up where necessary. The Hotel Systems Training Specialist interfaces with WHR associates, franchisees, support team members, SMEs, managers, and co-workers and will require the ability to take a complex process and break this down into a documented clearly defined format. The Hotel Systems Specialist requires great communication skills.

**Travel Requirments**

Travel is required up to 20% to assist in execution of GL&D related training programs if needed.

**Minimum Requirements and Qualifications**

* HS Diploma; BA in business or related field.

* 3-5 years in hotel or franchising hotel business.

**Complexity**

The Hotel Systems Training Specialist will work in close coordination with the Hotel Systems Training Manager in supporting the execution of items in GL&D strategic initiatives. The Hotel Systems Training Specialist has minor decision making responsibilities. The Hotel Systems Training Specialist will have no direct reports.
