New and vibrant position available for an experienced Recruitment Professional in the Food & Food Processing Sectors, based in a quaint, tight-knit community in Southern Minnesota. This role involves identifying and attracting top talent to support our client's dynamic workforce, collaborating closely with hiring managers, and maintaining candidate databases. The position requires a proactive approach to sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews to ensure a seamless hiring process.
Responsibilities:
Identify and attract top talent to support our dynamic workforce
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs
Develop effective recruitment strategies
Proactively source candidates through various channels
Screen resumes and conduct interviews to select potential hires
Maintain accurate candidate databases
Coordinate job fairs and implement creative methods to enhance our recruitment efforts
Use the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other systems to track and update applicant and vacancy information
Provide hiring recommendations based on set criteria and qualifications
Assist applicants with job applications, accepting offers electronically, initiating background checks, scheduling drug tests, and electronic onboarding documents
Participate in retention efforts and ensure regulatory compliance at all times
Perform administrative duties as needed, such as data entry, answering phones, photocopying, faxing, filing, etc.
Assist with trainings, presentations and/or events and provide back-up to others in the HR Department as needed.
Necessary Education and Experience:
- At least an Associate degree or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Education, Experience and Capabilities:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
- An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management is preferred.
- Prior experience in Human Resources and administrative roles is desired.
- Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team as necessary.
- Advanced use of computer programs (Mandatory: Word and Excel; Preferred: Power Point).
- Essential skills include problem-solving, communication, creativity, multi-tasking, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to change priorities efficiently to meet business demands.
- Attention to detail and organization skills are a must.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling personnel issues.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred.
- Experience with ATS or HRIS systems is beneficial.
