**RECEIVER - OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA**
March 4, 2022 The Receiver is responsible for receiving all incoming product, in good condition and ensure there is proper traceability to our Ocean Mist Farms facility.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Complete and enter paperwork for all inbound receiving;
* Collect weekly cycle counts of product inventory;
* Rectify discrepancies between physical and paper inventory;
* Report daily estimates of the product being received;
* Input data into Famous system from field tickets & purchased product Bill of Ladings (BOL);
* Communicate and coordinate product totals with Field Supervisors and the Shipping Office;
* Communicate daily with quality assurance inspectors to coordinate any hold action report and purchased product to be inspected;
* Communicate daily with Sales, Grower Accounting and Shipping regarding the product;
* Daily operate a forklift and complete the forklift daily check list;
* Coordinate field trucks;
* Check in field trucks & inspectors;
* Operate scale and cash register for line trucks;
* Daily rectify cash and credit cards charged with scale tickets and sing the weight scale summary of daily activity report;
* Use of handheld scan guns to consolidate partials of product in receiving A and B;
* Use food link network to print traceability stickers and place on the product from lake side organics;
* Send daily field pack out reports via email to the affiliated companies;
* Report daily via email to the designated group when the day is finished and all commodities have been recounted;
* Help in both receiving A and B based on where help is needed;
* Help stack partial pallets to complete full pallets of all commodities;
* Daily perform opening and closing procedures and corrections;
* Other duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements and** **Qualifications**
* High school diploma / GED preferred;
* Two years minimum experience in Agriculture Cooling, Receiving and Shipping;
* Working knowledge of computers & software as utilized in the Cooler environment such as: Microsoft operating system, Famous software, alligator tech and food link software;
* Basic math and reading skills are required;
* Previous forklift driving experience required;
* Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices program;
* Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred;
* Strong interpersonal skills including; ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, peers, supervisors vendors and customers;
* Ability to learn new duties with minimal repetition;
* Ability to work in ever changing, fast paced environment;
* Must be available to work weekends and different schedule hours every week.
