****Job Description****
**The Contributor Product Manager** for Sabre APIs in Sabres Travel Solutions organization will execute the companys global API strategy.
They will be a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into technology solutions that scale technically and operationally.
This role is responsible for bringing quality and enabling technical innovation, handling evolving / complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal organizations. The Product Manager will draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and their experience guiding technology businesses to set and deliver on extensive goals for adoption, operational performance, feature delivery, and revenue.
They will be responsible to shape and execute Sabre API strategy to move towards being an API-First company from pricing models through API Lifecycle, analytics to onboarding process.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Provides direction to and ensure development meets market requirements
Acts as the subject matter expert on a consulting basis
Liaises between Technical Sales and Product & Technology, gathering, tracking, and translating customer feedback appropriately for product, marketing, sales and technology team decision making
Challenges existing API processes to transition Sabre into an API-First company
Dives deeper into technical aspects of APIs
****Job Requirements****
2+ years related product management experience (ideally related to an API-First company).
Advanced computer software skills.
Very good knowledge of Web Services / API technology.
Technical savviness
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
Thorough understanding of GDS industry, travel agency & airline processes and operational standards.
Highly articulate with ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences at all levels within and outside of Sabre.
An innovative thinker who can approach situations from a different yet logical perspective.
**EDUCATION:**
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
