What you will do:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with preschool-aged students with autism and special needs to help them learn more effectively, academically, and socially through play and activities.

  • CBS is committed to developing our talented employees and will provide you with training and experience to be successful in acquiring the RBT certification.
  • We will train you to teach and inspire your students using ABA!
  • You will start training on your first day and will only work 1:1 with students after you are ready and comfortable.
  • Bonuses are paid to you when you pass each level of our RBT training system.
  • We pay for any training or fees associated with becoming and/or maintaining your RBT certification.
  • You will work primarily at one of our Early Intensive Learning Center in Danvers; and about 2 hours a week you will also meet at your student s home or community setting to share updates and support family sessions.
  • This is a full time position and hours are typically 7:45 to 3:30 Monday Friday in the center
  • Home Services after center hours 1x per week from 3:30-5:00!
  • No weekends!
  • You will be paid at your regular pay rate when you are working with your students or performing other activities for your job!

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for passionate, fun, dedicated and career-focused people interested in teaching preschool-aged children with autism and special-needs.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Experience:

  • Must be prepared to apply for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and pass the required examination within 90 days of employment. Fees paid are by CBS
  • Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of Ethics.
  • Attend trainings and maintain effective knowledge of identified job qualifications and skill competencies.
  • Assimilate and follow directions from your supervising behavior analyst for therapy activities and data collection.
  • Maintain reliable transportation and a valid driver s license. o High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer one year experience working with children and/or youths in learning programs or ABA therapy.
  • Applicants are expected to enjoy working with young children, demonstrate a strong ability to be fun and creative within play activities, and demonstrate eagerness to learn new behavioral concepts to develop connections with your students.
  • Our center is modeled like a preschool. Applicants must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl and use hands and arms frequently.
