JOB SUMMARY
Program Managers align projects with business goals, construct detailed work plans, manage teams, achieve milestones, and communicate the result across a stakeholder audience. A thriving Program Managers gets the best out of both people and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to expertly lead large complex size projects / programs with ability to grow to manage large projects to ensure deliverables are met throughout project life cycle (initiation discovery - closing)
- Develop and proactively manage project schedules to ensure project remains on track, within budget, and scope; analyze schedule to identify critical path and measure project progress
- Monitors and measures the health of the project indicator to ensure clear and succinct project communication as well as facilitate escalations or competing interests to drive resolutions
- Demonstrates strategic critical thinking skills
- Identifies responsible owners and provides clear deadlines to drive accountability across all workstreams and cross-departments at the enterprise level
- Accountable for developing / adhering to project management methodology standards, tools, and processes.
- Manages risk proactively, identifies potential risks and communicates with project leadership to stablishes mitigation plan to eliminate or reduce risk factors
- Coordinates communication with other teams and customers as needed in relation to impacts of the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed; disseminates project status via weekly status reports
- Drives integrated planning and brokers cross-team collaboration and air traffics interdependencies across the project stakeholders across the discipline of Operations, IS, and Vendor(s) partners.
- Demonstrates ability to fully analyze and attempt to resolve issues and risks across teams to drive resolutions for issues and provides risk mitigation responses; looks beyond obvious, draws on collective knowledge to design effective solutions and accelerate success.
- Demonstrates expertise in resource management and schedule including overall timeline and key deliverables
- Collaborative workstyle and ability to develop / sustain productive work relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization and externally.
- Effectively influences interdependent projects to stay on schedule and to meet project requirements
- Provides administrative activities needed to plan & facilitates group meetings to maximize involvement and achieve objectives; disseminate meeting minutes, action items and decisions in a timely manner
- Is a self-starter and completes work within the established timeframes; takes specific action to ensure complete and accurate work with high quality. Ability to evaluate workload and adjust schedules and priorities as required.
- Takes ownership to address improvement areas essential for effective leadership
- Ensures completion of lesson learned and close out reports & documentation within a timely manner
- Collaborative style in obtaining ideas and opinions on key issues and strategies with an ability to influence the project team and stakeholders to get results.
- Provides guidance and direction to junior project team members; coaches mentors peers to increase overall professional effectiveness
- Adjusts own approach based on understanding the needs, goals and aspirations of the target audience.
- Works under general direction of senior level management.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor s Business Management or Computer Science (or equivalent education / experience), required
Experience:
- 8-10 years experience in leading projects; demonstrated experience using project management disciplines / methodology, required
- Demonstrated experience using project management software tools, required
- Healthcare experience
