**Job Title:** Shop Manager

**Who We Are:** On May 1st, 1989, Rich Ackley and a team of talented people pooled their combined 100 years of experience and founded Dalmatian Fire, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the same day, Rich also opened a branch office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The second week of Dalmatians operations, the company sold an $8,900 tenant finish sprinkler job in Cincinnati. Now, over 27 years later, we have produced in excess of $515 million in fire sprinkler revenue.

In 1995, we opened our third branch office in Columbus, Ohio, and in 2005, we opened our fourth branch office in Louisville, Kentucky. We joined Shambaugh & Son, L.P., a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc. and together we perform more than $800 million of construction projects per year with over 2,700 employees throughout 50 states from our home office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

**Job Summary:** You will be responsible for construction materials, equipment and warehouse personnel.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Coordinate the shop orders from Engineers

* Pull materials from stock for projects and stage

* Get material list from Engineers and place orders when they need help

* Coordinate deliveries between vendors and superintendents to project sites (this will include fabrications)

* Deploy and schedule truck driver to project sites and coordinate with superintendents

* Input into a Google calendar the delivery schedule of all materials and tools

* Repair and maintenance of tools that are able to be repaired in house

* Send out tools for repair as needed

* Take material and tool orders from field and place orders to vendors

* Unload and load materials into the shop

* Keep shop organized and stocked with extra materials

* Develop inventory list of tools so we know what we own and a list of materials that we want to keep in stock

* Price out new tools needed and order tools

* Maintain all paperwork for the must have in toolbox data (SDS, Safety Book, FE, FWOs, FED papers

* Other duties assigned

**Qualifications:**

* 3+ years of warehouse and inventory responsibility in a construction environment

* Knowledge of tool repair

* Experience coordinating deliveries between vendors and superintendents to project sites

* Able to multi-task

* Good communication and organizational skills
