About the Role:
We are looking for an Assembler to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. This position ensures customer satisfaction by providing safe, reliable operation of Eriez equipment that is intended to protect our customers and their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Use specialized tools and fixtures electrical and mechanical to complete assembly
- Basic electrical knowledge to connect power to electrical devices
- Able to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, instruction manuals and material/pick lists to complete assemblies
- Able to operate the ceramic saw
- Stand, sit, push, pull lift up to 50lbs
- Able to assemble and charge basic magnetic circuits
- Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by supervisor
- Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torch, drill press, etc
- Ability to learn Eriez labor and work order collection system
- Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
Requirements
- A high school diploma is preferred
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions
- Able to use epoxies and adhesives as required in assembly applications
- Able to work in a safe manner dealing with powerful magnets and high voltage
- More than 2 years of general assembly job experience or specialized training
- Knowledge of how to weld and operate a mig welder
- Willingness to tackle a flexible schedule and on-time arrival for shifts

Hourly pay (starts from) : $19.19/hr.
