**We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Golden Eagle Division in Lake Zurich, IL. Our new manager must have that "roll up your sleeves and get the job done" mentality, while providing exemplary leadership and support to our distribution team.**
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
* Manage various warehouse personnel including fork lift drivers, material handlers, and pickers and packers.
* Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
* Maintains inventory accuracy and integrity.
* Responsible for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
* Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
* Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
* Maintains physical condition of warehouse and offices by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement, oversee the cleaning crew and work with outside vendors for facility upkeep such as landscaping, HVAC, etc.
* Works with corporate plant recruiter on selecting warehouse staff.
* Maintains job results by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
**Requirements:**
* Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
* Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
* Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
* Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
* Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
* Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* 5+ years of distribution/warehouse experience.
* Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
