Essential Functions
- The Scheduling Clerk will handle the daily schedule for production.
- The candidate will also be responsible for responding promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls from all customers internal and external.
- Must be detail oriented and a team player with the ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Will be required to assist other team members when the workload warrants it.
- Help with HR task as required for hiring individuals for productions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduling Duties
Access and download Southern Motion's daily production schedule from CYROC.
Accurately re-format and generate daily production schedule for mill operations in a timely manner.
Print and distribute copies of production schedule for the mill to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Receive and accurately incorporate schedule changes into the mill schedule and communicate changes to the
appropriate personnel.
Communicate schedule and changes to vendors in a timely manner.
General Duties
Responsible for devolping and maintaining filing system on a daily basis.
Conduct daily inventory check and maintain information in an excel spreadsheet.
Working knowledge of Microsoft of products, primarily but not limited to Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
Develop a working knowledge of the companies phone system.
Answer the phone and transfer calls in a professional manner.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the companies' appearance/dress code.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Assist others when necessary.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Scheduling Clerk will work out of the Pontotoc Recline Designs.Pay rate will be based on experience. RequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Excellent telephone skills.

- High level productivity.
Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years sales service experience preferred.
- Furniture manufacturing experience a plus.
