Sr Distribution Specialist
Opsource Staffing has partnered with a Worldwide Textile company located in the Spartanburg, SC area.

Shift for this position:Job requirements for the position may include:- Review the orders scheduled to ship out.
- Create deliveries or sales orders, stock transport orders, and sales samples for the day.
- Create shipment and print Bill of Ladings and shipping labels.
- Review special handling requests and take necessary action.
- Prepare Export orders- these include orders going to Europe, Korea, Singapore, South America, Canada, Mexico, ect.
- Complete order tracking log and assemble paperwork for each shipment.
- Make arrangements with carriers to pick up orders and prepare Daily Truck Log.
- Prepare UPS and Fed Ex shipments by filling out appropriate paperwork.
- Prepare paperwork and complete SAP transactions for any shipments going to customers, outside warehouses, and toll manufacturers.
- Prepare paperwork and complete SAP transactions for sample shipments.
- Help investigate causes of inventory errors pertaining to shipments.
- Maintain Bills or Lading files on a daily basis.
- Ensure inventory has been properly relieved and generate invoices for all productions shipped.
- Provide assistance and information to the Traffic Department to file Carrier Claims.
- Perform Quarterly inventory.
- Be aware and knowledgeable of appropriate environmental and DOT regulations pertaining to shipment of materials and wastes.
- Be knowledgeable in all aspects of domestic and international shipping regulations and requirements.
Qualifications for the position:- High School Diploma or GED
- General shipping & receiving experience.
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Forklift driving experience, including swing reach preferred.
- Hazardous Shipping Certifications, preferred.
