About the Role:
Job Title: Full stack Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary backend developer, contributing to approximately 60-70% of development efforts, with proficiency in both Java and Go programming languages.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers and other team members to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications.
- Leverage your 6-7 years of experience to lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in implementing best practices and optimizing code quality.
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs on AWS using Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and other serverless technologies, optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Utilize Spring Boot framework for developing and deploying microservices, ensuring robustness, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to frontend development efforts as needed, with proficiency in Angular and React frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in Java and Go programming languages, with a preference for experience in both.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly in deploying and managing applications on AWS using Kubernetes.
- Experience with building and consuming APIs, ensuring compatibility, security, and performance.
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and technologies, including AWS Lambda.
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot framework for building microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with frontend development frameworks such as Angular and React is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the Financial Domain.
Location: McLean,VA
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 $125,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
