The Operator 1, Machine position is responsible for preparing and arranging materials and products in bulk and retail form for transfer to warehouse and distribution to customers. * Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
* Verify quality checks with metal detector, date code verification and case check weight verification
* Run equipment; Case Packer, Top Sealer, Palletizer
* Clean machines, floors and make sure Machine is organized
* Train with Level 2 Operators on Machine set up
* High school diploma or GED
* Good communication skills both verbally and written
* Math skills
* One (1) year manufacturing experience, a plus
* Fork Lift and/or Handcart certification, a plus
* Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
* Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently
* Ability to climb stairs, often
* Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
* Comfortable working at heights
* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
* Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
