Learn more at SCQ Director DTx Lab Systems develops and deploy Lab system strategies and solutions across MedTech Quality to drive growth, delivery, quality, and cost improvements. Also, serves as the business process owner and overall business lead for Lab Systems and will partner with JJT to deliver new and innovative capabilities in support of Digital Transformation Excellence and business needs. The Director interface with various cross-functional stakeholders and will drive alignment and prioritization of use cases and supporting solutions, process improvement opportunities, evaluation of new Lab Systems including development and approval of business cases in alignment with business needs. Will also lead all aspects of introduction of new LAB systems improvements in achieving target outcomes which includes chartering, metrics identification, resource requirements, detailed schedule, milestones, identification, and mitigation of risks including stakeholder change management plan and communication plans. Through stakeholder interfaces, will capture and translate customer insights into target use cases including conducting internal and external benchmarking in surfacing best practices for adoption.In addition to identification and deployment of new Lab Systems leveraging process excellence tools & methodologies to drive process standardization and building and coaching global and local teams on adoption of new practices and skill that will help sustain improvements.Are you interested in joining a diverse team delivering outstanding results to our customers? Apply now for this exciting opportunity!Key Responsibilities:Serves as the overall lab system strategy lead; owns the vision and enhancements to lab technology ecosystem in alignment with business needs and strategic frameworkServes as the business representative and subject matter expert; owns the vision and prioritization of new features and/or enhancements to lab system - Business Product Owner for LIMsIdentifies business customers unmet needs and align on the problems to be solved with Product and squad membersDrives Process and technology standardization and best practices including establishing lab system playbook and adoptionShapes the Lab System Product vision, strategy and Roadmap for the product being delivered, aligning business demand with the Product roadmapIdentifies business customers unmet needs, understand competitor landscape and align on the problems to be solved with Product and squad membersPartners with adjacent functions (IT, Franchise Quality/SC, Enterprise) to provide technical & strategic support in the management of existing and future laboratory systemsIdentifies opportunities for improvement in laboratory technology systems, processes, and workflows, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Shape and prioritize features, utilizing business expertise and understanding of customer needs, translate business requirements into user stories & acceptance criteriaManage changes to laboratory technology systems, such as technology upgrades or implementation of new systems, while ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining compliance.Coordinates site level resource, SME workshop and deployment planning including the delivery of targeted business resultsAlign requirements & delivery expectations with business stakeholders to ensure the product meets business needs and achieves desired outcomes while identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies for laboratory technology systems within the supply chain.Develops and implements quality management systems specific to laboratory technology, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including laboratory personnel, supply chain professionals, and quality assurance teams, to ensure effective communication, coordination, and alignment of quality-related activities to ensure successful market launch and continuous improvement across the product lifecyclePartners with internal stakeholders to identify new technologies, stay updated with applicable regulations and standards related to laboratory technology, and implement processes and controls to ensure compliance.Support budget cycle (LRFP, JU, BP, NU) to accommodate business needsQualificationsEducation:A minimum of a bachelor s degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical field and 10 years proven experience is required.Advanced degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical field and 5 years proven experience is preferred.Experience and Skills:Required:Experience with introduction of new technologies and systems in the regulated healthcare industryDemonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives with cross-functional, diverse, global teams using PEx MethodologyExperience with developing innovative approaches to Quality challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environmentDemonstrated experience in effective project managementStrong communication and change management skillsAbility to zoom-in and zoom-out for strategic and tactical activitiesProficient technical writing skillsAble to manage complex strategic programs with multiple stakeholdersAble to provide outcome-based/value-driven focus to the organizationStrong negotiation, communication, and change management skillsProven success in influencing highly successful teamsCapable of building strong partnerships across segments & regions, acting as the mediator between organizations while optimizing the value propositionStrong relationship development, conflict resolution, and team building instincts, with the ability to build partnerships both internally and externallyMakes the customer central to all thinkingAbility to coach talent on Quality Engineering principles and practicesFluent verbal and written English communication skills; other language skills advantageousOther:Certified PEx Green Belt or Black Belt are preferred.This position may require a 30 to 40% of domestic and/or international travel.The anticipated base pay range for this position is $157,000 to $271,400.The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States.
