Self-Realization Fellowship is seeking a result-oriented Business Systems Analyst to work in our Department of Philanthropic Planning Department (DPP). This exempt, fulltime position is remote (must reside in CA, CO, AZ or TX) with occasional travel.Position Summary

Be responsible for improving fundraising process performance and efficiency in close collaboration with the Assistant Director, Department of Philanthropic Planning, fundraising team members, and other stakeholders.Conduct ongoing review of business processes and workflows; oversee improvements and automate as able.Ensure that Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) leverages appropriate technology for its fundraising efforts.Troubleshoot technology problems, recommend solutions, and ensure the efficient daily operations of the department.Be responsible for testing systems and collaborating with Digital Services (DS) to resolve issues and/or improve system performance.Thoroughly understand department needs/requirements and determine how changes might affect processes and timelines.Analyze data and produce reports as requested.Responsibilities

Responsible for collaborating with fundraising team members and stakeholders to identify and document requirements for fundraising processes and systems.Analyze fundraising data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform fundraising strategies.Assess the effectiveness of existing fundraising systems, tools, and technologies. Recommend and oversee implementation of improvements or new solutions that streamline fundraising operations.Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in fundraising processes. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance fundraising effectiveness.Drive the implementation of new fundraising software or systems in collaboration with DS and external vendors as needed.Ensure seamless integration of data within fundraising-related systems with other organizational databases and software, such as CRM systems.Provide training and create documentation for fundraising team members on the use of fundraising systems and tools.Generate and distribute regular reports on fundraising performance, including donor acquisition, retention, and revenue development as well as campaign outcomes.Ensure that implementation of fundraising processes and systems complies with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and SRF policies.Use discretionary initiative and judgment in handling sensitive & confidential details, establishing priorities and resolving problems relating to daily operations & administrative details.Maintain clear and effective communication with various stakeholders, including fundraising team members, DS, and senior management.Ensure usage of CRM and the F&E solution on a regular basis for operational workflows.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.Seven plus years of professional experience, of which three to four years proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in a non-profit and fundraising context.Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze data and present findings and recommendations. Experience with Business Intelligence software is a plus.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.Demonstrated skills in understanding and documenting business processes as well as identifying and implementing optimization solutions.Experience with fundraising software and CRM systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Fundraising and Engagement (F&E) solution will be an added advantage.Proficient and nimble in the use of a variety of software applications like the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Dynamics, etc.).Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs quickly and easily.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail with the ability to manage and follow through on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.Must be highly resourceful and work collaboratively in a strong team environment in a virtual office setting while also working independently.Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to the mission and values of SRF.Other Duties

Oversee the Department s use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and F&E (Fundraising and Engagement) modules; monitor/reconcile data from multiple SRF revenue sources; and collaborate with Digital Services and Membership Services to ensure accurate records and data harmony across multiple systems.Generate and maintain mailing/marketing lists for all annual giving, campaign, and engagement projects, including solicitations, newsletters, impact reports, stewardship mailings, and pledge reminders.Provide regularly scheduled reports and updates for SRF leadership on revenue performance, highlighting key trends, variances, and action plans including donor data analysis and reporting with actionable insights.Work closely with Department leadership to provide fundraising projections and strategies for individual, corporate, and foundation giving related to key campaigns and initiatives.Ensure the efficient and accurate administration of gift receipting, processing, reporting, and analysis.Conduct routine data hygiene and maintenance of donor database and recommend process improvements.Exercise discretion and independent judgement in carrying out responsibilities.Follow SRF s policies and established processes.Perform other position-related tasks, as assigned.This is an exempt, fulltime remote position.
