The Opportunity:As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to providing research and te chn ical support to senior-level DoD representatives responsible for ordnance electrical safety of naval

weapon s and ordnance facilities and platforms in Lightning Protection, Facility Grounding and B ond ing, Equipment Grounding and B ond ing, Electrical Service, Ordnance and Energetic Grounding and B ond ing, Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance

( HERO ) , and Electrostatic Discharge

( ESD ) . We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to identify, develop and implement recommendations and solutions to problems, risks, and potential outcomes regarding prevention of unintended electrical power to the ordnance resulting in inadvertent initiation or detonation, and Ordnance Electrical Safety. You'll leverage your expertise in NAVSEA OP-5 and OP-4 ashore and afloat requirements to ensure the electrical safety of ordnance and energetics operations in Navy facilities as they pertain to Lightning Protection, Ordnance Electrical Safety interactions, and electromagnetic and static influences.At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to provide te chn ical direction on Lightning, Grounding, and B ond ing

( LG & B )

and ordnance electrical safety involving naval

weapon s and ordnance. You will establish and implement ordnance electrical safety criteria and standards. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
