Description:
The Technical Project Manager for Network & VOIP Engineering will spearhead critical projects to enhance and secure the communication infrastructure of a globally deployed Department of Defense (DoD) organization, serving over 80,000 users. This pivotal role demands a fusion of technical prowess in Cisco network and VOIP solutions, strategic project management, and a deep commitment to national security. The successful candidate will navigate complex challenges, ensuring the delivery of state-of-the-art communication systems, while adhering to stringent security and compliance standards. This position offers the opportunity to impact the operational effectiveness of a key defense entity on a global scale.
Requirements:
Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance or higher.
Experience: Proven track record in managing network and VOIP projects, particularly within DoD or federal environments. Hands-on experience with Cisco solutions is mandatory.
Skills and Knowledge:
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Cisco network and VOIP solutions.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, IP telephony, and cybersecurity principles relevant to DoD operations.
Ability to manage projects from conception through completion, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external partners.
Additional Qualities:
Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and security compliance.
Demonstrated ability to lead by example, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Certifications:
Cisco Certification: Highly preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
Project Management Professional (PMP): Preferred but not mandatory.
