Media Planner


The Media Planner is responsible for the execution quality and management of media plans. The Media Planner will monitor deliverables and be responsible for ensuring work is to specification and that all media campaigns are executed on time and within budget. In addition, reporting and analytics on a client-by-client basis will be a focal point for this role.


The Media Planner will be extremely knowledgeable in all digital channels, including search (paid and organic), social media, and programmatic display. They will be able to address strategy and implementation across all media platforms. An extensive background in self-service digital platforms is required.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties


Ensuring exceptional quality and timeliness of digital media plans and budgets


Guide Account Services to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPIs during the initial planning stage


Reviewing and managing client data to ensure optimal performance on all campaigns


Supports with overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of accounts and responds to, prioritizes, and follows through to completion of all account team and client requests/needs, including POVs, client education, and presentations across multiple digital channels: paid search, social media, display, digital video, etc.


Working with the media team to ensure media plans are strategic, delivering on client objectives, and meet stated goals


Leveraging multiple data sources and working with the data science team to discover insights


Performance tracking and analysis: analyzing and reporting on campaign budgets and results across all channels on a weekly and monthly basis.


Assisting in the creation of client-facing reports by developing insights around the results of digital media campaigns.


Experience required for the role:


Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience


3-5 years of Digital Marketing experience


1-2 years of Google paid search campaign management


Google Suite and Keynote (or PowerPoint) experience required


Experience with paid social media platforms (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.), obsessed with maximizing ROI


Analytical background with a creative approach to problem-solving


Deep understanding of how advertising, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization work together


Adept ability to balance analytics with human behavioral insights


Ability to learn new and emerging ad platforms as they become available


A clear understanding of the client-agency relationship


Strong communication skills (verbal and written)


Disciplined organizational skills with strong attention to detail


Comfort in a fast-paced environment


Team player who can immediately add value
