Your Challenge:
- Reviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers. Follows up on open orders to completion. Assist with reports and expediates.
- Review and maintain proper safety stock levels.
- Coordinates with the accounting department as required resolving questions on suppliers' invoices.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area.
- Perform other related duties or functions as assigned.
What You Bring:- 1-3 years of related experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or related Supply Chain role.
- Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain), preferred.
- Knowledge of material management functions which includes procurement planning and processes.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- MS Office experience required.
- Microsoft Excel experience required.
- Experience in Syteline or other ERP/MRP system.
- Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
