Shift: Day Monday through Friday 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.

Job Description: A Quality Inspector reviews products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Startup, In-Process and final Inspections.
  • Read blueprints and specifications.
  • Monitor Molding operations to ensure that they meet product standards.
  • Recommend adjustments to the production process as necessary.
  • Calculate and execute proper sampling requirements per process or procedures provided.
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials.
  • Label Verifications
  • Measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers
  • Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
  • Accept or reject finished items.
  • Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
  • Actively Auditing Work Orders in progress to closure.
  • Entering and reporting data as necessary for traceability.
  • Assist with Non-Conformance Initiation, Investigations, and Closure.


Requirements

Job Qualifications:
  • Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
  • 1-3 years' Quality experience in a medical device or molding environment is desired but not required.
  • (Quality or Manufacturing experience within other regulated industries may be considered.)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent Is required. Postsecondary education is favorable.
  • Basic ability to navigate and utilize a PC with various software, including Microsoft Products, Inventory management systems, and cloud-based software operations, is essential.
  • Candidates must have great dexterity, stand for prolonged periods, multitask, work under pressure, work well on a team or as an individual contributor, and effectively employ time management skills.
