We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a **Buyer** to join our team in **Woodinville, WA**. This important position within the Procurement Department is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services in support of Ste. Michelle company requirements. The Buyer will be responsible for the negotiation, execution and administration of contracts and purchase orders for materials based upon assigned commodities, as well as execute department and company-wide initiatives.

**What you will do:**

* Acquisition of goods and services in support of company needs.

* Responsible for the negotiation, execution and administration of contracts and purchase orders for materials based on assigned commodities.

* Perform the vital task of materials management, insuring that purchased. materials are moved smoothly though the supply chain to support multiple facilities and locations.

* Develop and manage supplier relationships/partnerships.

* Manage multiple project timelines effectively.

* Generate and implement cost reduction opportunities to meet annual cost savings objectives.

* Communicate and resolve lead time, delivery, quality, and pricing issues.

* Provide support to other Buyers as needed.

* Provide procurement information, including analysis of price and market trends and lead time updates for supply chain.

* Conduct supplier visits/evaluations to determine suitability and to make recommendations for improvement.

* Independently lead cross-functional projects to tackle supply chain problems across the business.

* Perform data analytics, forecasting, and optimization of related processes to support business decision making.

* Apply knowledge of supply chain and logistics including procurement, inventory, planning, and movement of materials and products according to the needs and objectives of the company.

* Seek opportunities to evaluate and improve existing supply chain plans to reduce the costs of transportation, distribution, and warehousing.

**What you will bring:**

* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role, including the bid process, compliance with procurement requirements, and supplier negotiations.

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business Administration (or related field) preferred.

* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Working knowledge of manufacturing methods and quality control processes a plus.

* Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop positive business relationships with internal departments and suppliers.

* Team player who demonstrates problem solving abilities and strives toward continuous improvement.

* History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
