**Second Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Earn up to $23.00/hour + Shift Premium, based upon experience.** At NMG Aerospace our Assemblers are responsible for fabricating and assembling a variety of different assemblies and supporting hardware, applying knowledge of assembly techniques, and using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Each team member is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, daily repair and evaluation of pneumatic/electric tools, data entry, and shipping and receiving duties. **Essential Job Functions:**

* Assemble and calibrate production parts.

* Able to locate and interpret assembly drawings and ATPs, specifications and work instructions for requirements.

* Fills out necessary paper work, including travelers, pull sheets and forms for shipments.

* Lifting of materials up to 40 lbs and test manifolds.

* Mix ingredients, primers, adhesives and sealants according to specifications.

* Trim, drill, ream, grind, sand and finish parts using templates and hand tools as required.

* Assure compliance with customer specifications and requirements including shipping details.

* Meet customer and NMG goals of quality, on time delivery and costs.

* Proficient with E10 (ERP/MRP System) transactions and job related dashboards, including part and job tracker.

* Ability to assemble multiple products in a cell or across multiple lines as evident by training matrix.

* Guidance and a resource for entry level team members.

* Inspect all final products to assure compliance with customer requirements including shipping details.

* Help team evaluate trends of labor standards, costs and process improvements.

**Additional Duties:**

* Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions

* Meet job functions as evident by skills matrix.

* Completion of lean ladder training equal to or greater than level 3.

* Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.

* Other duties, reporting, special assignments or projects as needed and assigned.

**Qualifications:**

* 3+ years overall production experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry (aerospace).

* Ability to meet deadlines and plan accordingly.

* Strong technical and mechanical ability.

* Good communication skills.

* Team and individually goal-oriented.

* Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing preferred

* Must be willing to submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with NMG Aerospace (i.e. drug screen, background check, eye exam, hearing exam, etc.) and any subsequent testing required for the position during employment.

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time.

* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office or shop floor to access work supplies, tools, machinery, etc.

* This position may require physical activity to include handling of objects up to 40 pounds. Anything above this weight limit will require the use of the proper equipment outlined during OTJ and workplace safety training. Physical activity may also include long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.

**Education:**

* High School diploma or GED.
