Opportunity Information
-Three (3) nights/week -Night General Surgery coverage.
-In-house coverage for on the floors, rounding with surgeons, performing consultations on the floor and ER, performing bedside procedures
Responsibilities
-Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic/treatment skills.
-Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients
-Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
-Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
Qualifications
-New Jersey PA license
-Exceptional interpersonal skills, ethics, professionalism, adaptability, and determination
