Job Purpose

The Supply Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in contributing to the achievement of wholesale and retail targets within the Business Unit. Through diligent Demand Planning, Purchase Order Creation, and reconciliation efforts, this role ensures the seamless monitoring of dealer orders and factory production changes. Serving as a key liaison between factories, the Supply Logistics Coordinator communicates annual forecasts and spearheads production negotiations to prioritize American Honda production. Additionally, this position acts as a reliable backup for other supply logistics coordinators within the department, maintaining continuity and efficiency within the supply chain operations.



Key Accountabilities

  • Demand Planning (Manual)
  • Purchase Order Creation and Reconciliation (Manual)
  • Balance supply by warehouse to meet wholesale order demand (PO adjustments)
  • Product Forecasts to all PSP Factories Tanki (Manual)
  • Production Negotiations and Communications with Factories
  • Process Improvement and Standardization
  • Back up/cross-training for other analysts in the department and systems specialist



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with especially strong skills in advanced Excel
  • Experience in plan development, tracking against results, and developing plan recovery countermeasures
  • Knowledge of Powersports products, supply chain management, and exposure to automotive industry operations and business models is preferred
  • Strong analytical, written/oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong relationships with both intra-department and intra-organization contacts
