What you'll do...

Position: Manager II, Product Management

Job Location: 10790 Parkridge Blvd, #200, Reston, VA 20191

Duties: Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for moderately complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 2 years of experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Designing and implementing supply chain process improvement initiatives; Value stream mapping supply chain processes to deliver cost saving projects; Leading teams using lean methodologies; Prioritizing cost saving projects effectively using 9-box lean tool; Creating and delivering presentations to customer and senior leadership; Critical thinking to reduce project development time and save resources; Developing internal metrics to monitor efficiency gains; Leading new process deployments and validations; Synthesizing data from multiple sources, including data analytics, and designing to identify key unmet needs and craft solutions; Developing components of an end-to-end B2B platform-based solution; Process improvement in retail eCommerce and omnichannel; Quality Assurance concept to be able to design and implement products that improve quality; Designing and implementation of Quality Management Systems to recognize business needs for quality improvement; and Working with Warehouse Management System.
