On behalf of our client, an innovative manufacturer of appliance components, we are looking for an enthusiastic Plant Manager.



Our client is a leading manufacturer in the appliance industry, specializing in innovative product and process development. With a global presence and a workforce of over 1000 employees worldwide, the company operates a plant in the southern part of the Raleigh-Durham area, projected to grow from 120 to 170 employees within the next year.



Job Responsibilities:

As the Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
  • Improving safety standards for all facilities and equipment to ensure business continuity.
  • Developing the professional knowledge and skills of plant personnel.
  • Ensuring customer quality requirements and standards are met.
  • Monitoring internal quality KPIs and ensuring process conformity.
  • Organizing and managing product conversion processes, including providing necessary resources and workforce.
  • Meeting daily customer demand and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Managing and adhering to yearly budget costs.
  • Defining operational, investment, and improvement plans aligned with assigned KPIs.
  • Ensuring the overall technical functioning and effectiveness of machinery, equipment, and tools.
  • Collaborating with Research and Development (R&D) teams for the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining a reporting flow with headquarters.



Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • Several years of experience in a structured manufacturing environment, with a proven track record as a Plant Manager or Production Manager.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency.
  • Ability to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
