Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join ANTA as a Merchandising Manager at our location in Santa Monica, CA. This role is tailored for a consumer-focused leader with a deep understanding of sports markets and the ability to craft market-leading assortments and product journeys. You will be at the forefront of interpreting trends and consumer needs, ensuring we exceed our global consumers' highest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandise strategies consistent with the brand's vision, ensuring product availability and diversity across all channels.
- Conduct comprehensive product training sessions for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide biannual reports on product demand in the US market and deliver quarterly briefings on market-specific product offerings.
- Coordinate with headquarters for sell-in sample procurement, manage the ordering process, and oversee the inventory of sell-in samples.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in merchandising, assortment planning, or a related field within the apparel and footwear industry.
- Strong retail acumen and analytical skills, with a command of key retail metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insights, sales data, and market trends into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with an inclusive and progressive approach to team dynamics.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at building relationships and influencing across national teams and functions.
- Able to travel frequently (at least 8 times a year travel to China).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
