Job Description:

Are you a dedicated safety professional with a passion for ensuring workplace safety in the fields of fabrication and manufacturing? We're seeking an experienced individual to join our safety team and take charge of creating a safe and compliant work environment in our prefabrication and manufacturing facility in Austell, Georgia.


Education:

Bachelor s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.


Certification(s):

  • OSHA 501 training certification is required.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in safety management within fabrication and manufacturing settings.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
  • Familiarity with OSHA general industry regulatory requirements and standards in the fabrication and manufacturing industry.


Key Responsibilities.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits in our fabrication and manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to the specific needs of our operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide OSHA training compliant with 1910 regulations to employees and management, fostering a culture of safety.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Utilize industrial hygiene skills to assess and mitigate potential health hazards in the workplace.


Work Experience.

  • 5 years minimum work experience
