About the Job
Winsupply Sourcing Services (WSS) operates ~2 million square feet of wholesaling warehouse space, while offering inventory and vendor management, to be the premier vendor partner for our customer base.
Our customer base consists of aspiring entrepreneurs who own and operate their own wholesale distribution businesses, now over 650 businesses nationwide. Therefore, this job provides the opportunity to have a direct impact in the success of entrepreneurial small businesses across the United States, and in particular, those that rely on WSS to improve their inventory turnover. WSS transacts with vendors and customers nearly three quarters of a million times in a given fiscal year. In this role, you will help ensure DCP operational excellency by providing on-the ground customer service at our distribution center (DC), and serving as a liaison between our team and the DC.

Pay Rate: Hourly
Key Job Responsibilities by Assigned Service Sector
In-Person Customer Matters
o Respond to customer inquiries; research required information using available resources
Handle customer complaints diligently and according to complaint process
Identify and escalate priority issues as necessary
o Enter local company orders placed on location
Process order changes on submitted orders, only at the direct request of the customer o Issue returned goods authorizations (RGAs) upon request; ensure restocking fees are billed per policy
o Investigate, depending on amount, and resolve all shipping discrepancy errors
As appropriate, leverage RDC personnel to investigate; issue all financial credits warranted
Obtain proposed resolution approval for credit issuances >$5,000 from Sector Team Lead, FA
o Investigate, depending on amount, and resolve all shipping damage errors
Obtain all supportable documentation and picture evidence to support damage claim
Leverage resources to submit claims to carrier
On-Location DCP Support
o Support all Distribution Center Processing (DCP) specialists in the execution of their duties
Facilitate investigative matters that require the assistance of DC staff and management
Customer Experience & Outbound Processing Specialist Responsibilities
o When not performing the duties above, perform functions of noted specialist roles (see job descriptions)
o Maintain proper documentation on all matters in Cherwell; communicate identified process improvements
o Hold oneself to WSS Standards of Service; ensure adherence to WSS policies at all times
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate s Degree in Business, Business Administration or related field. In lieu of degree, relevant experience considered. Experience in wholesale industry a plus. Proficient with office technology and software.
