Recruiter

This Is What You ll Do:

  • Provides managers and supervisors with assistance in the coordination and selection of talent in the recruitment process.
  • Assists Recruiting Manager in establishing recruiting requirements; meets with managers to discuss needs.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites.
  • Assists in the development of new recruitment programs, such as employee referral program, behavioral-based interviewing, PI profiles, etc.
  • Determines applicants qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Makes offers of employment; coordinates background checks, drug screens, reference checks and license verifications.
  • Responsible for all administrative functions of recruitment including, but not limited to, creating requisitions and managing job postings.
  • Creates and maintains various reports, as needed, including monthly recruiting update, time-to-fill, etc.
  • Assists Recruiting Manager in the development and communication of recruiting policies and procedures.
  • Ensures fairness, efficiency, consistency, legal compliance and cost effectiveness in hiring decisions and compliance with company policies and procedures.

This Is What It Takes:

  • Bachelor s degree highly preferred; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor s degree.
  • Two (2) years experience as a Recruiter; five (5) or more years preferred.
  • Previous experience should demonstrate knowledge of standard HR concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, customer service focus, self-motivation and ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to problems creatively.
  • May require travel to assist field locations with recruitment.
