POSITION | Catering Server

START DATE | May 1, 2024


SCHEDULE | Seasonal employment 10-25 hours per week. The weekly schedule will be based on events.


PAY RATE | Hourly wage of $20 as a W-2 employee paid biweekly.


JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:


Catering Server/Bartender:

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service to guests during events and functions

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner

- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Event Setup: table settings, bar, cocktail area, etc.

- Service of food and beverages during stages of the event such as cocktail hour, dinner service, etc.

-Bartenders must ensure guests are over the age of 21 before serving alcoholic beverages, by checking the Guest's ID.

-Event Teardown: clearing reception tables, shutting down the bar, end-of-night cleanup

-Assist in Customer Relations: fielding questions and concerns from bridal clients

-Other tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or food service preferred

- Knowledge of bartending techniques and ability to mix drinks is a plus

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest requests and concerns

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or equipment as needed

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
