Overview:

The Social Media Coordinator plays a vital role in both internal and external communications, focusing on marketing strategies. This role involves creating, curating, and overseeing social media and digital content across various platforms. The aim is to enhance engagement, bolster brand recognition, and drive traffic to the company website.

Responsibilities:

Develop, curate, and oversee social media and digital content, including graphics, images, videos, and written material, across multiple platforms.

Stay abreast of social media trends, tools, design, and strategies, ensuring the adoption of best practices.

Engage promptly with comments and messages on social media platforms and review sites, actively monitoring public discourse.

Generate compelling copy for distribution on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and client websites.

Uphold social publishing standards, adapting to emerging trends and aligning content with each platform's preferences.

Analyze optimal publication timings for content.

Collaborate with brand partners to select media and develop messaging consistent with the client's ethos and voice.

Maintain a social media calendar and reporting dashboard, delivering regular reports on engagement metrics and other performance indicators.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.

3-5 years of proven experience in social media or marketing communications, including content creation and audience targeting.

Proficiency in design, photo editing, video production, and infographic creation.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite, particularly PowerPoint.

Ability to design graphics for social media posts using Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and similar tools.

Proficiency in creating quick-turnaround videos using Aftereffects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, and other software.

Strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated understanding of managing both organic and paid campaigns.

Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.

Ability to set, track, analyze, and report social media KPIs.

Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
