JOB DESCRIPTION:

Willbrook Solutions is seeking a Junior Computer Scientist Willbrook Solutions is seeking a junior-level Missile System Engineer/Analyst to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and perform intelligence data evaluation, analysis, and design for advanced conventional weapon systems. The candidate will work as part of a multi-discipline team to develop a comprehensive understanding, design, and assessment of foreign radar, missile, and command and control (C2) weapon systems. The candidate will support the development of a comprehensive, scientific and technical intelligence understanding, assessment, and design of the foreign radar's computer, waveform generator, and algorithms associated with the overall performance and operation of the threat system.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

The candidate for this position will operate in a support role in which the primary duties may include modeling, simulation, static analysis, and dynamic analysis of the entire target system using state of the art high fidelity simulations to understand and characterize the system analysis. The system analysis will be used to generate highly detailed technical reports and presentations to customers. In conjunction with the team, the candidate will ensure that the overall assessment and design are consistent with the design philosophy of the foreign designers and comparable and consistent with the assessed radar computer hardware technology during the radar's development timeframe. Communicates and collaborates effectively and efficiency with other highly technical government and contractor engineers assigned to the complex project. Presents findings and recommendations to the Computer Subgroup Lead. Prepares input to written reports and other documentation. Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to utilize advanced reverse engineering techniques and concepts.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance will be considered
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field with at least 2 years of experience is desired but recent graduates will be considered
  • Experience using C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or other programming languages.
  • Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with experts from varied disciplines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly communicate in simple, easily understood terms.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Active SECRET clearance
  • Intel experience/background
  • Foreign weapon system analysis experience
  • Experience with radar, modern RF seekers, or Electronic Warfare system design
  • Experience developing, utilizing, or knowledge of Data Analytics Tools and utilization of AI/ML
  • RF system modeling and simulation
  • Software-in-the-loop and/or Hardware-in-the-loop modeling and simulation
  • Reverse engineering
  • Embedded systems analysis
