**Tool Crib Attendant**
**$500 Sign-on bonus**
**Full-Time**
**What this work looks like:**
* Requisition tooling and basic supplies needed for shop.
* Verify with Supervisors the necessity of a purchase when ordering.
* Set up new employees for access to MSC vending.
* Work with external vendors regarding new tooling supplies and trials.
* Work with Supervisors and Operators to identify and provide improvement opportunities.
* Ability to interpret the hard copy program and identify tools necessary for jobs.
* Gather necessary tooling for jobs as specified in hard copy program.
* Regrind tooling as necessary.
* Gather up tooling for outside regrind as necessary.
* Coordinate required tooling with Lathe and Mill Supervisors.
* Identify shortages and/or excessive quantities of perishable items used in the shop.
* Perform and document basic, scheduled machine maintenance.
* Perform necessary housekeeping of work area.
* Work through outdated tooling and shop items to determine if they can be used again.
**Skills needed to win:**
* High School diploma (or equivalent)
* Two to four years of CNC manufacturing related experience regarding tooling
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
* Ability to read and interpret various industry documents.
* Strong organization skills
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft, ERP Systems & Computer Programs)
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
* Ability to present information to fellow employees.
* Ability to solve practical problems.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
* Ability to read appropriate blueprint specifications.
* Ability to use appropriate measuring devices and any other equipment associated with the job.
