Now Hiring: Ingredient Sourcing Manager
- Location: Iowa
- Perm, FTE only. This is not a contract.
- Salary ($125-150K max) + Benefits + Relo Asst.
- We have partnered with a food & beverage manufacturing company that is seeking to hire someone who has purchasing experience and a strong knowledge of the marketplace and micro feed ingredients.
- This is a newly created position; new hire will manage projects, not people. At some pt in the near future, role may have 2 direct reports at most.
- International travel is minimal however will mostly focus on the Asia area
- Company is in growth mode; bringing in more e-commerce, B2B & B2C expansion
- 10+ years of purchasing experience required (must have micro-ingredient purchasing/sourcing exp. This includes amino acids, vitamins, minerals, etc.)
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Company within the commodities industry so that type of experience is also key!
- Hands-On position; more so managing the category/project than people., i.e. almost like an SME in that way for micro-ingredient sourcing of ingredients.
