Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex sets of information to identify business trends and patterns. The role will require strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Data Analyst will also work closely with internal teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions.
Responsibilities
- Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and provide actionable business insights.
- Proactively analyze OPS data to answer key questions for stakeholders, with an eye on what drives business performance, investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
- Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision making across the organization.
- Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources, build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more scalable across datasets.
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation, analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Work closely with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization tools
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or any related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics preferred
- Experience with data extraction and manipulation preferred
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, or R is a plus
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
