Job Description: Warehouse Staff Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Staff Supervisor to join our team at Resource Employment Solutions . In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse personnel who are staffed at our client's 3PL facility. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high-quality service standards, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations and achieve performance targets.
2. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with our client's management team, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring client satisfaction.
3. Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed to improve productivity and quality of work.
4. Staffing and Scheduling: Coordinate with the staffing team to ensure adequate staffing levels, manage schedules, and handle any staffing-related issues.
5. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for new hires, ongoing training for existing staff, and support continuous learning and skill development.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety among team members.
7. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, Daily head count reports, daily labor spend reports, and documentation related to operations, performance, and personnel inventory, and weekly payroll reports.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies, implementing best practices and initiatives accordingly.
9. Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team, with clients, and across departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least (3) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of 3PL operations and logistics processes is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics or management is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

• The position offers a competitive salary of $62,000 per year
