Medicaid Advocate

The Medicaid Advocate s role is to advocate for state benefits to assist elderly and disabled individuals who are needing long term care. The advocate effectively communicates with clients, their legal representatives, attorneys, long term care facilities, and other company staff to effectively qualify individuals for the necessary benefits.

Essential Job Functions

Assist with or complete the processing of necessary forms and documentation.

Recording and maintaining accurate information in a database system.

Complying with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.

Performing other clerical tasks, as required.

Requirements

Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.

Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Good administrative and organizational skills.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

High attention to detail.

Knowledge of annuities, life insurance, IRA s, brokerage accounts, etc.

Background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
