Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day activities/assignments of computer operations staff and the follow-up of their work performance
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring scheduled work is completed on time, as well as accounting for unscheduled production and maintenance
- Works closely, and in coordination with, other operators to ensure proper knowledge and task turnover takes place between shifts
- Identifies and resolves computer system problems
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in the operation and support of a variety of computer systems
- Mainframe experience
- Experience with:
- Resolving abends
- ServiceNow (SNOW)
- Splunk
- JES2/MVS Tivoli
- Scheduling packages (Zeke/Zebb, Control-M)
- Ability to:
- Maintain tape libraries
- Monitor computing platforms
- Notify customers of problems
- Operate console systems
- Troubleshoot computing platforms
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule is 7 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 7 days off.
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual s skills, experience, and qualifications.
