About the opportunity:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be supporting the team located at San Francisco Airport, supporting electrical, mechanical and/or electronics industrial systems (i.e. baggage handling systems).
Maintenance Service Technician (Openings at various experience levels (Entry level to Senior/Lead)
- Openings at Maintenance Tech I, Maintenance Tech II & Maintenance Tech III depending on various skillsets from electrical, mechanical, electrical controls, etc.
- Salary Range flexible depending on experience
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technicians responsibilities may include some or a combination of all: performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of the Baggage Handling System and their associated components, providing accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities.
At the more Senior/Lead level, responsibilities may include: interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager. Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules. Familiarity with PLC systems, high level control systems SCADA systems, and network architecture including servers, ethernet, fiber optic, network switches (ethernet, fiber), workstations, and barcode scanning systems.
Requirements:
- Education Required: HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
- Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.
- Work will be mostly mechanical and/or electrical in nature; including equipment installation, network configuration/upgrades, trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls.
- Troubleshoots installation issues
- Electronically and Mechanically skilled; Understanding of a basic electronics or mechanics
- Experience in mechanical, electronics, system upgrades or similar technical nature
- Experience in installing complex mechanical, electrical and/or electronics equipment
- Experience in the installation, maintenance and/or service of supporting industrial systems (mechanical, electrical and/or electronics)
