As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing structural steel fabrication projects from conception to completion. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting client expectations, and upholding our commitment to quality and safety by managing projects on-site.
The client is offering: a salary range based on experience 60-70K- 100% paid benefits, Medical, Vision, Dental, PTO, HSA, Life Insurance, and travel expenses
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans, outlining timelines, resources, and milestones.
Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Efficiently allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements.
- Optimize resource utilization to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure financial goals are met without compromising on project quality.
- Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures throughout the fabrication process.
- Ensure the final product adheres to industry standards and exceeds client expectations.
- Identify and assess potential risks, developing proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Address challenges promptly to prevent project delays.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to senior management, clients, and project teams.
- Monitor project timelines and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflow and minimize delays.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the facility.
- Implement measures to create a secure working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in structural steel fabrication within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Proficient with Tekla Power Fabrication Software will train- must be tech savy
