Our client is a well-known Fortune 500 company in the technology industry and is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join their team. This position will oversee the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs requiring cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across multiple projects. The Technical Program Manager will work closely with executive-level management, internal teams, and external partners to ensure the delivery of systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
Deliver programs within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints, managing multiple moderate-impact risk factors.
Conduct program-level strategic planning, interact with executive-level management, and resolve complex issues through excellent communication and team-building skills.
Manage internal and matrixed teams, including contractors, to deliver systems and enhancements meeting specified requirements.
Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimation, project scheduling and tracking, budget management, status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, customer interaction, and communications across multiple organizational levels.
Define, document, implement, and own device allocation processes, tracker documents, and systems across AR and VR devices for XR Tech.
Coordinate device needs and delivery across XRT work-streams, collaborating with cross-functional hardware partners on build specifications and final allocations.
Manage device distribution, intake, and administrative controls.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- 5+ years of project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, implementation planning in large organizations.
- Proven people management and team building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
