Source One is a consulting services company and we re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a global medical device company in Fort Worth, TX.
Job Title: Inspection Technician Associate (Contractor)
Pay Rate Range: $26.60/hr (W-2)
Initial Duration: 12 months with possible extension
40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
The Inspection Technician Associate works in the areas of inspection or quality test of products within the surgical instrumentation and quality organization. The Receiving Inspection Technician Associate will perform quality inspections to standard AQLs. Tasks will typically be interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance in order to qualify parts into stock locations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.
- Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
- Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
- Experience in manufacturing inspection, repair, test, or quality with demonstrated hands-on electromechanical testing preferred within a medical device industry.
- Experience performing Raw Material/Chemical sampling.
- Experience performing First Article Inspections
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Quality experience is a must
