Spencer Ogden is currently collaborating with an industry leading company in need of a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Supervisor. The role reports to the Project Site Construction Manager and offers on-site support and supervision for all quality-related aspects of the CHP Project's erection activities. This includes coordinating and reviewing planning activities, assessing Contractor deliverables, evaluating ongoing work, ensuring compliance with the Contractor s Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and verifying the quality, functionality, and contractual compliance of the Contractor s work. Additionally, the position will assist in reviewing the Contractor s monthly progress claims and validating them as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor inspection and testing processes for the Completion Contractor, ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications, and contracts.
- Review and approve the contractor's inspection protocols, sampling procedures, and equipment for testing.
- Conduct inspections of work in progress and completed projects using industry-standard methods, and record results in quality databases.
- Assist the Construction Site Manager and participate in site safety oversight and activities.
- Review documents and specifications, assist in developing test methods, and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Collect and analyze quality data, provide support in claim management, and enforce project standards while minimizing risks.
- Ensure project documents are complete and compliant, collaborate with contractors, facilitate meetings, and communicate project information effectively.
- Monitor erection/installation works for progress, compliance, quality, safety, and environmental standards, and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated successful performance as an Owner s Quality Rep AND/OR EPC Team on multiple projects of similar design.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant site experience in power and/or utility stations as specifically applicable to overseeing the quality aspects of erection works.
- Advanced knowledge of installation methods for various plant components/Balance of Plant (BPO)
- Experience working with installation means/methods for Major Equipment (boiler/heat recovery steam generator, combustion gas turbine, condensing steam turbines) piping, hanger & supports, and connections to equipment.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices, and strong communication and computer skills.
